Florence Dimopoulos

Florence (Boudros) Dimopoulos, 82, of Danvers, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, following a period of declining health.  She was the beloved wife of the late George Dimopoulos.

Born in Somerville on May 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Costantinos and Melpy Boudros.  She was raised and educated in Somerville and later made her home in Arlington, where she raised her family and was an active member of Saint Athanasius Greek Orthodox Church. For the past 35 years, she had been a resident of Danvers and more recently a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn.

For many years, Florence worked alongside her husband at Seacoast Motors in Salisbury, where they built both a business and a community of lasting friendships. She also cherished her time spent abroad, joyfully dividing the year between Massachusetts and Kalamata, Greece.

Florence had a gentle love for tending to her indoor plants and enjoyed cooking for her family, especially on holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving.  But more than anything, her greatest joy was found in her family. A proud mother and grandmother, she adored her five grandchildren and treasured every moment with them.

She leaves her two loving sons: Nicholas Dimopoulos and his wife Kathy of Danvers, and James Dimopoulos and his wife Anastasia of Haverhill. She was the beloved grandmother of George, Felecia, George, Lambros, and Kosta, and the sister of Nicholas Boudros of Danvers. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Boudros.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her Funeral Service in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 54 South Common St., Lynn, on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11AM. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning in the church from 10-10:45AM prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
