Frances Finocchiaro, 75, passed away following a lengthy illness. She was the devoted wife of the late James Finocchiaro Sr.
Born in Malden on December 1, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Cynthia (Stewart) Eriksen. Frances had a long career with the City of Beverly, first as a school bus monitor, then a school bus driver. She had also been a supervisor at Shaw’s Supermarket for a number of years.
Frances was a cherished member of her community, remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy is one of resilience and devotion, touching the lives of all who knew her.
Frances was devoted to her faith. She had been a communicant of Saint John Parish in Beverly for many years, where she taught CCD. She was the ultimate homemaker and loved her family.
She is survived by three children James Finocchiaro and his wife Colleen of Bradford, Amy Wetmore and her husband Gregory of Canton, GA and Shawn Finocchiaro of Peabody, five grandchildren Thomas Tillson III of NH, Morgan Wetmore, Gregory Wetmore Jr, Nicholas Wetmore and Noah Wetmore, all of GA and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Isaiah, Cryo and Lyric, her sister Diane Manning of Quincy and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 4-6PM on Friday, June 13, 2025 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 6PM in the funeral home.
