Francis X. Lester

Francis X. Lester, 65, of Danvers, died January 31, 2020 after a lengthy struggle with pneumonia. Born in Newton on August 3, 1934, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary (Clifford) Newton. He was raised and educated in both Gloucester and Arlington. Frank worked in various hardware stores and was always good working with his hands. He enjoyed giving family members his original wood creations. He leaves two sisters, Barbara Ryan of Danvers and Colleen Meuse and her husband David of Gloucester, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s name may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01960.
