Frederick N. Bourgelais

BEVERLY- Frederick Bourgelais, 82, passed away in his home on November 26, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born in Haverhill on February 20, 1935, he was the son of the late Marie (Belanger) Glidden. He was raised and educated in both Haverhill and Canada, attending Philips Exeter Academy. Fred had been a research engineer in the medical and defense industry. Fred was also an avid bridge player and was a member of several clubs over the years and enjoyed following the market. Fred enjoyed his neighbors and friends at Colonial Gardens. He was extremely close to his son Phillip and his wife Julie and her son Christian, all of Danvers. He is also survived by his son Paul of Concord, NH and his son Peter of Maine, a granddaughter Addison, his brother Patrick Bourgelais and his wife Judy of Merrimac and his former wives Jean Jackson and her husband Jim of Exeter, NH and Donna Chamberlain of Maine. His funeral services were held privately.
