Ft Myers, FL — Gail E. (Clewes) Henry, 76, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Danvers passed away peacefully at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, on March 16, 2017, after a lengthy illness. She spent most of her career in banking, retiring as a vice-president at Citizens Bank of Rhode Island in 2004. Gail was an avid sports fan, closely following her beloved Red Sox, Patriots, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She also enjoyed card games, crafts, and puzzles. She touched the lives of many people, and was touched by them all.
Gail is survived by her loving son, Glenn and his wife, Cindy of Lincoln, NE, her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Hayden Warren of Naples, FL, her brother, Charlie of Beverly, her sister, JoAnn of Ellensburg, WA, and her beloved Aunt Sandra Purcell of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday at 1PM on June 10, 2017 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 12PM-1PM in the funeral home. I just found out gail passed away which just goes to show you that you shouldnt lise touch with friends….i will miss her boston accent and her lovebof conversation….ill treasur my memory of stating with her in 2009 in her condo in ft myers….she was one of the nicest persons anyone could know…..mark calcione
Addiionally…she was truly a generous person with a heart of gold…we used to play hilo jack back in lincoln before she retired….i also remember her taking me to cape ann for the day….
