Gloria P. DeVeau

DANVERS- Gloria (Page) DeVeau, 94 passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Blueberry Hill Healthcare. She was the wife of the late Earl P. DeVeau. She was born in Beverly on November 28, 1922, the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Hathaway) Page. She was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1941. Gloria had been a Highland resident since 1948. She was employed as a nurse’s aide at Beverly Hospital for 25 years, many of her years spent in the pediatric ward. She is survived by five children, Karlene DeVeau of Danvers, Janice Rodgers and her husband, Michael of AZ, Patricia DeRocher and her husband, Steven of N. Andover, Paul DeVeau of Gloucester, and Maralyn Wilchynski and her husband, Larry of Michigan, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
