Harry J. Fanning

Harry J. Fanning, 81, of Beverly, died May 29, 2020 at Beverly Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Lorraine (McLaughlin) Fanning, who died only 27 days earlier.
Born in Beverly on Feb. 12, 1939, he was the son of the late John and Beatrice Fanning. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army.
Harry was employed for over thirty years as a truck driver for Houghton Chemical.
A longtime member of the Beverly Elks, Harry was a loving father and a wonderful grandfather.
He leaves his two sons, Barry Fanning and his wife Lori, Darryl Fanning, his grandchildren Alyssa, Hailey, Lindsay, and Emily, his great-granddaughter Maya, his brother William Fanning, and several nieces and nephews.
