Helen Clark

DANVERS- Helen “BUB” (LeBlanc) Clark, 96, passed away on January 21, 2019 in Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of the late Prescott Clark.
Born in Salem on June 26, 1922, she was the daughter of Ignacy and Leokadia (Mebruda) Filipiak. Helen was raised and educated in Salem. She had been a winder for Sylvania for over 40 years. She worked at both, the Boston Street and Loring Avenue locations. Helen was a talented knitter and enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Winnipesaukee with her husband on their motorcycle. Helen was a devoted grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, John LeBlanc and his wife, Jean of Danvers and Lester LeBlanc of Danvers, Alden Clark of Boxford and Allen Clark and his wife, Trudy of VA, eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Ryanne, Elizabeth, Susan, Andrew, Wendy, Karen and Doreen, several great grandchildren and her niece and nephews, Judy, Mike and Peter. She was predeceased by her step-daughter, Marilyn Strout and siblings, Hattie and Henry Filipiak.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s name to the American Heart Assoc. 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA, 02451.
Les, John & Family, I was so saddened to hear of Helen’s passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy. She was one of a kind and loved by everyone who touched her life. She will be sorely missed by her family who she was so proud of. I will miss her visits.
We were so sad to hear of Helen’s passing. She was a such a great lady. She always made us so welcome and treated us like part of her family. Her wit and laughter and smiles and caring were such a wonderful part of her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and all who loved her. John and Bonnie Anderson.
I am still in shock that Buppy is gone. I will always remember her wisdom and lively spirit. The memories keep coming as i remember her ..I will always miss her , I love you very Much Buppy.
