Thinking of you all today. I remember well her kindness and warmth.
While I wasn’t in Mrs. Farmer’s class at the Portables, I recall her big smile and personality. She said hello to everyone, and somehow I knew she could be funny.
Wishing you the comfort of wonderful memories.
Fondly,
Sally Kerans
So sorry to learn of Helen’s passing. So many great memories with the Farmers at Manchester B & T
My deepest condolences to Mrs. Farmer’s family. Many years ago I was a student in her grade 5/6 class at Great Oak School. She was probably my favorite elementary school teacher – her smile, humor, connections with us as students and so much more are what I will always remember. I went on to become a teacher and school administrator. Mrs. Farmer always created an incredible environment for students to thrive and this is still the key to all great teachers!

Many good memories of days at the B and chatting in our beach chairs and later in the day “cheese and cracker time.” My sympathy to all of the Farmers.

Mom would have loved this tribute. What a great profession you chose! Thank you!
Beautiful. I really enjoyed this. Thank you!
My condolences to the Farmer Family for the loss of Helen. I’m sorry that we were not able to travel to the funeral. She was an amazing woman. I remember Helen’s great sense of humor and how she loved hanging out on the deck at the B&T. That’s how I’ll always remember her. Listening to the hustle and bustle, feeling the ocean breeze and soaking in the view of Magnolia Harbor. She developed wonderful memories and traditions there with her family. I’m glad I got to share some of those moments with her. She always put family first, and it was clear that she loved each of her children so much! I got to know Helen mostly through her legacy as a mother. Her son Mark Farmer has been a wonderful, positive father figure for me and my kids. You can tell that growing up in a big family influenced his work ethic, but also his easy going nature, his comfort in large family gathering and with boisterous children. Helen raised him to be kind and look after others, just like he looked after his mom wish such commitment and care. Watching their love for each other through these least years has been a great example for me. I’m thankful for the wonderful son that she raised in Mark. I’m glad she is free from pain. We will carry her memory on in hearts but also in playing cards and having FUN times together as a family. That’s what she would want us to do. Hugs to all. XO
Our condolences to Helen’s entire family. She was so friendly and happy. What a wonderful legacy she leaves behind. The B&T will not be the same without her. Wishing you all love and peace.

My deepest condolences to the Farmer and Feeley families for the loss of their dear mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Helen’s daughter Maryellen is a dear friend and the best tribute to a mother’s life that any mother could ask for. Rest in peace, Helen.
Sadly, Ulla and I learned of Helen’s passing and fondly remember all the good times we enjoyed with Helen and family over so many years. Reading her obituary, reminded us of her remarkable life achievements which she seemed to accomplish with ease and never complaining about her many challenges. What an amazing human being and role model! She was an inspiration to us all and we will forever cherish our friendship and especially the many good times we shared.
