Jacqueline Alice (Doheney) (Sweeney) Saulnier, 84, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2021, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew her. Jackie was born and raised in Revere, MA. She was the daughter of the late Carmella "Millie" (Minichino) Doheney and Lawrence "Larry" Doheney. She was the sister of John and his wife, Cathy (deceased), of Georgetown, MA, and Larry and his wife, Barbara, of Charleston, S.C. and a former sister-in law, Barbara LaRue. She also leaves two sons, Glen P. Sweeney, of Revere, and Daniel T. Sweeney of FL. She was predeceased by her son, Edward "Scott" Sweeney, also of Revere. In addition, she also was the stepmother of Vicky, Laura and Pam as well as the grandmother of Derek Sweeney. Jackie made the most of life, she enjoyed many days at Revere Beach, and later when she moved north, she would go to Seabrook Beach with her best friend, Louise, whom she missed dearly. She enjoyed camping with her family, and also had an intense love of music, anywhere from The Beatles to Country, and could play many instruments, including banjo, her 4-string guitar, keyboard and her ukulele. She could sing and was a great yodeler and would often go to nursing homes and entertain the residents. She enjoyed travelling with friends, going out to lunch with her Y friends as she worked at the Danvers Y.M.C.A. for many years. She also worked at The Topsfield Fair for 10 years which she really loved as well. She loved her pets, Yaz, Sue Ling, Ling Sue, Tammy, Jingles and especially her dog, Cody. She will be missed by her neighborhood clan of birds, squirrels, and stray cats that she took care of. Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10AM. Per CDC guidelines, face masks are encouraged for the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either The Danvers Community Y.M.C.A., 34 Pickering St., Danvers, MA 01923 or The Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970 in Salem, MA.   1. Jackie was one of my second mothers. My mom was Louise who was mention in the obit. They were friends from when they first meet and after Ma passed she was family to my wife Barbara and my daughter Kelly and Ally . She will be missed but always loved . R,I,P Jackie hopefully their beaches in heaven

  2. From playing Your Cheating Heart at my wife bridle shower to playing her keyboard for entertainment for my 30th birthday party after the stripper finished up . Too the many trips to the beach in Hampton then later Seabrook . She will always be Aunt Jackie to my girls.Kelly and Ally and missed by all who knew here . Rest in Peace Jackie and Hopefully there is a beach in Heaven . Till we meet again .

  4. Jackie we were cousins, your mom and my dad were brother and sister. I didn’t get to see you much but you were loved and always had a smile on your face. My sister Debby and I will miss you very much. Your light will always shine.

  5. Jackie, you were my best buddy for more years than I care to say. I remember so many fun things we did together, mostly our escapades at Hampton Beach with our partners in crime Louise and Leona. You were a wonderful friend and I will miss you so much. Rip my dear friend.
