James Stratos

James Stratos, 67, of Peabody, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026.

Jim attended Lynn and Peabody schools. A true maven of ‘60s and ‘70s pop culture, he had a particular passion for all things Beatles and Dark Shadows. Jim very much enjoyed outings with his Dark Shadows friends.

But most of all, Jim valued his family and his Greek heritage. Few could lead a Greek line dance as well as Jim. With his library of Greek music, Jim was often the unofficial DJ at family functions.

Jim is predeceased by his beloved mother, Marie, and father, John, and brother Harry Stratos. He is survived by his brother Christo Stratos and wife Carol, and sister Joanne Dubray and husband Kevin. Jim leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the Spring. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
