SALEM- Janice May (Levie) Graves, 89, passed away on March 26, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Elliott W. Graves. Born in Beverly on August 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles and May (Sholds) Levie. Janice lived in Gloucester and moved to Salem where she raised her five children. She moved to Foxboro in 2007 where she resided with her daughter. She worked at Parker Brothers for 25 years. She enjoyed camping with her husband and children. She would knit sweaters for her children and grandchildren as well as crochet blankets for them. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved the Patriots. General Hospital was her show of the day. She is survived by four children, Cheryl Dailey and her husband, Daniel of Beverly, Steven Graves and his wife Kimberly of Virginia Beach, Cindy McCann and her husband, John of Foxborough and Tina Fullerton and her husband Willard of NH, as well as daughter-in-law Rochelle Interrante Graves, twelve grandchildren, Christian, Danielle, Crystal, Erica Michael, May, April, Keith, Rachel, Amy, Amber and Stephanie, seventeen great grandchildren with one more due in June and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her son Jeffrey and great grandson, Angelis and her siblings, Charles Levie and Audrey Hobbs. A graveside service will be held privately. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Janice’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.

  1. My mother was probably the strongest woman I have ever met. If you knew her you would agree, with all she had to endure the last few years of her life. She loved life and embraced her family like no other. Anyone who has ever met her always had the kindest thing’s to say about her. She will be greatly missed. I LOVE YOU MOTHER.
