Jean V. Klosowski

Jean V. Klosowski, 87, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida. Born in Peabody on July 31, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Terence and Jane (Goreham) Klosowski. She was raised in Middleton and was a graduate of Holten High School in Danvers. Jean was employed at GTE Sylvania for many years. She also operated her own cake decorating business and was affectionately known by many is the area as “the cake lady.” A longtime Salem resident, Jean enjoyed spending half the year in California for many years, and more recently spending her winters in Florida. She enjoyed traveling the world, especially with her twin sister, Joan. She was a communicant of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church. She leaves a sister, Phyllis Ryan of Lakeland, FL, a niece, Deborah Carkonen and her husband Michael, two great-nephews, Paul Breau and his wife Kristin and Jason Breau. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Joan Klosowski, her brother, Terence Klosowski, Jr., and her nephew, Paul Breau, Sr. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 9AM in Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, Margin St., Peabody.
