Jeannette Maynard Bradstreet

MIDDLETON- Jeannette (Walsh) (Maynard) Bradstreet, 88, passed away on January 14, 2019 at the Sea View Retreat in Rowley. She was the wife of the late Eldon Bradstreet and the late Frank Maynard, Sr.
Born in Topsfield on August 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late James and Marie “Mary” (Nadeau) Walsh. She had a career as a certified nurse’s assistant in many nursing homes in the local area. Jeannette was also a member of the Grange. She was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and loved to travel. She was truly a kind and giving woman.
She is survived by her children, Frank Maynard and his wife, Lydia of Haverhill and Mary Maynard of CO, her siblings, Rosemarie Walsh of Topsfield, James Walsh of Merrimac, Richard Walsh of Georgetown, Edmund Walsh of Topsfield and Phillip Walsh of FL, her grandchildren, Eric, Melissa, Christopher, Scott, Deanna, Matthew, Kimberly and Benjamin, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children, Daniel and David Maynard, her granddaughter, Michelle and her siblings, Mary-Jane Perkins, Robert Walsh and David Walsh.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield. Visitation will be held in the church from 9-10AM prior to the Mass on Saturday morning. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeannette’s name to the Sea View Retreat Activities Fund, 50 Mansion Dr., Rowley, MA, 01969.
Dear Jeannette — Thank you for the dinner and drinks and welcoming me back from serving in Navy during Vietnam. I needed that. Thank you for hosting my folks’ 25th anniversary also I believe, 50 years ago. Say hello in person to Jesus and Father God for me.
