Jim Linehan

Jim Linehan, age 72, passed away May 4, 2016. He graduated from St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA in 1961, and from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 1967 with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He was the owner of Linehan Engineering, Inc. for the past 20 years. Jim was an avid sports fan, and he loved the San Antonio Spurs and Texas A&M Aggies. Since semiretirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Patricia, here and abroad from Australia to Africa and many places in between. Jim loved organizing, being part of, and seeing his wife and children enjoy family vacations. Jim was the secretary of USA Water Polo throughout the 1990’s and remained a Lifetime Member.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mary; brother, Dan Linehan; and sister, Marie Towey. Jim is survived by his wife, Patricia Linehan; son, Jim Linehan, Jr., and wife Catherine; daughter, Jenna Tebo and husband Chris; son, Joe Linehan and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abby, and Andrew Linehan, and Kyla and Caleb Tebo.
The family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 with a rosary that was held at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. A funeral mass was held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 9-10AM on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Danvers. His Graveside service will immediately follow at 10:30AM in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers.
