John W. Devine

DANVERS- John William Devine, Jr., 67, passed away on February 17, 2018.
Born in Beverly on March 16, 1950, he was the son of the late John “Jack” and Mary R. Elisia “Betty” (Robidas) Devine. He was a graduate of Saint John’s Preparatory School, and Merrimack College, and worked many years in the Newton public school system. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Nathan Devine and Luke and Jennifer Devine and two grandchildren, Charlotte and Logan.
His Funeral Services were held privately.

John was my best friend starting in elementary school. He was in my wedding party. I have many fond memories of camping, skiing, canoeing the Allagash, and hiking in the white mountains.We shared many good times and family get togethers.
