Josephine L. Clatterbuck

TOPSFIELD- Josephine L. (Savard) Clatterbuck passed away on April 21, 2020 at Masconomet Healthcare.
Born in Freetown on December 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Marie (Picard) Savard. Her biological mother, Agnes McMann, died when Josie was an infant.
She graduated class of 1945 from Middleboro HS, went on to work for the Telephone Company. She lived in Wareham for a short time and coached girls Basketball, and work at the Born Mill. She retired from the US Postal Service in 1995, after 30 year of dedicated service. She was an Avon Lady for 25 years. Josie loved Ballroom dancing, golfing, playing cards, watching the Red Sox, huge fan of Nomar Garicaparra!! She also enjoyed the beach.
She is survived by her three children, Robert Minnick and his partner Audrey Bartlebaugh of Onset, Joan Guarente and her husband Joseph of Danvers, and Donna Johnson and her husband Steve of Salem, seven grandchildren, Steve, Walt, B.J., Roy, Meghan, Amanda, and Hannah, three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Cameron and Sarah, three grand dogs, Flurry, Vinny, Louie and many nieces and nephews. She was the predeceased by her five siblings, Edward, Gene, Teddy, Cecelia, and Roseann.
Her Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine’s name to a Covid 19 fund of your choice.
Very blessed and grateful to have been Josies friend.i will treasure our wonderful times together and will always hold her in my heart, now she will meet my mom and she will become her new partner in crime, lots of love to the whole family
