The Photo on the left was taken at the photo wall at Brenna and Eric’s wedding at Glen Magna in Danvers . What is so special about this photo, is the very old photo to Karen’s left, is her Paternal Grandmother Maryann Lord who married William Spears–they had 10 children. Karen’s father Charlie was one of the younger ones ❤️ The photo on the right was taken at Kate and Chris’ wedding at the Rooftop room at the Taj Boston. We are so happy she was able to celebrate those wonderful times with us !
My family lived across the street from Karen and I grew up with Karen as my neighbor. I used to do lots of seasonal jobs for Karen while growing up – from mowing her lawn, raking her leaves, to shoveling her driveway. Speaking of shoveling snow, I was in high school during the blizzard of 1978 and my job was to shovel Karen out. Once the snow finally stopped, I remember opening the front door on a beautiful crisp sunny day and looking out at several feet of snow. I grit my teeth and fought may way over to Karen’s to begin the LONG ordeal of digging her out! Karen was always kind and generous to me, someone whom I greatly enjoyed visiting whenever I returned to Danvers.
