Laurel J. Kerwin

Laurel J. Kerwin, 90, a sixty-year resident of Saugus, died suddenly on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Born in Lynn on January 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Elise (Paris) Smith. She was raised and educated in Lynn, where she was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. Mrs. Kerwin was employed as a legal secretary in the law offices of several local attorneys. She was an avid gardener and loved animals. She leaves two daughters, Linda Kerwin of Danvers and Robin Goldston and her husband Greg of Florida, her grandchildren, Daniel Splaine and David Splaine, both of Danvers, Rachel Goldston and Laurel Goldston, both of Florida, Adam & Melissa McConnell of Reading, Nora McConnell of Danvers, Bree & Michael Levitz of Stoneham, and Meghan McConnell of Stoughton, a great-granddaughter, Kelsey Levitz, and her twin brother, Laurence Smith. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kerry McConnell. Funeral Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Kerwin’s name may be made to the MSPCA-Angel Memorial, 350 S.
