Lawrence R. Nadeau

PEABODY- Lawrence R. Nadeau, 86, passed away on November 2, 2020 in his home. He was the husband of Grace M. (Papmechail) Nadeau with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Danvers on April 7, 1934, he was the son of the late Joseph and Louisa (Ouimette) Nadeau. Lawrence was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School. He had served our country with the National Guard Reserves for several years. Lawrence had a long career as a grocery store manager. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved dog, Jeffy. He also enjoyed gardening and was a history buff. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. In addition to his wife, Grace, he is survived by five children, Melinda Bosley of NH, Pamela Nadeau-King and her husband, Andrew of Danvers, Lawrence Nadeau and his wife, and Laurie of Peabody, Gary Nadeau and his wife Tina-Marie Carr of Salem, Joseph Nadeau and his wife, Cyndi of CT, his siblings, Anna Mohr of IL and Patricia White of Middleton, eight grandchildren, Jonathan and Elise Bosley, Jeffrey and Daniel King, Travis and Courtney Nadeau, Meagan Ferguson and Gracie Nadeau and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Alice Davis, Irene Trodahl, Bernadette Primmer, Barbara Siebert, Doris Blackman, Violette Blanchard, Leo, Ernest and James Nadeau. His funeral services will be held privately due to the pandemic. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Lawrence’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St, Danvers, MA, 01923.
