Lorraine J. Novello

Lorraine J. (Michaud) Novello, 88, of Peabody, died Friday morning, February 1, 2019. She was the wife of the late Russell Novello. Born in Salem on Dec. 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edgar M. and Irene (Morin) Michaud. She was raised and educated in Salem. Mrs. Novello had been employed as the manager of a dry-cleaning business for many years. She and her late husband enjoyed country-western music, auctions, and puzzles. She was a loving and devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She leaves her sister and devoted caretaker, Jacqueline Normand and her husband George of Danvers, her brothers, Roland W. Michaud and his wife Beverly of Lunenburg and Roger Michaud and his wife Audrey of Danvers, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Edgar C. Michaud and her sisters-in law, Sallie and Florence Michaud. Her Funeral Service will be Monday, Feb. 4, 2019 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10AM.
