Mary Ann LeClair, 85, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020. She was the wife of the late Robert H. LeClair, with whom she raised her three beloved children. Born in Salem on Sept. 7, 1934, Ann was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Houle) Gauthier. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a 1952 graduate of Salem High School, where she enjoyed cheerleading and playing the piano. A Danvers resident for many years, she was a longtime parishioner of Saint Richard's Church. She enjoyed golf, tennis, skiing, and boating. She was a member of the Danvers Garden Club and she and her husband were active in the Catholic Mr. & Mrs. Club. Ann and Bob enjoyed snow birding between their homes in Naples, Maine and Sarasota, Florida. Her greatest joy came from her role as “Mimi” to her grandchildren. They would all agree, she was the best “Mimi” ever. She leaves her three children, Cynthia Suarez and her husband Carlos of Marshfield, Ronald LeClair and his wife Nina of Sturbridge, and Suzanne Morrison and her husband Dwight of Danvers, her grandchildren, Carolyn Schneider and her husband Judd, Jacqueline and Elizabeth Suarez, Christopher Morrison and his wife Katie, Connor and Cameron Morrison, and Olivia Grauel and her husband Angelo, and her great-grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, and Blakely. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, David LeClair. Her Funeral Mass will be held privately. 1. So sad to hear of Ann’s passing. We had been friends since she joined the DGC prior to becoming a Snowbird. A lovely person, inside and out. Evie Fraser

  2. Ann was a great friend, in Danvers, and in Florida, many happy memories of all the time spent together, golfing, cruising, boating, and even working for her many years ago. RIP Ann, you will be missed by so many.
