Mary E. Tuneburg

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Boucher) Tuneburg, 88, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late James A. Tuneburg who died in 2004. Born in Beverly on Feb. 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Boucher and the late Florence (Lang) (Boucher) Cravatis. A lifelong Beverly resident, Betty was employed as a billing clerk at Toby Ford, Thomas Ford, and Gibbs Ford. She later worked in the loan service department at Warren Bank until the time of her retirement. She leaves two daughters, Karen Crandall of Beverly and Betty Lee Tuneburg of Plaistow, NH, one son, Thomas Tuneburg and his wife Michelle of Beverly, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchildren, a sister, Eileen Luther of Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased a grandson, James Baldassarre, a son-in-law, James Crandall, and her siblings George Ronald Boucher, Leonard Boucher, Leah Pickard, and Eloise Painter. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
