Michael Paul Bower

January 29, 1957 ~ December 7, 2016
BEVERLY- Michael Paul Bower passed away quietly in his home on Tuesday, December 7th. Living his whole life in Beverly, he attended the Beverly School for the Deaf and graduated from Whittier Technical High School.
In his early years, he enjoyed basketball, fishing, biking and went on to become a mechanic and machinist. He enjoyed working outdoors and with his hands, building or fixing things for friends and family as it was perhaps his greatest pleasure to be a help to others and would do so at a moment’s notice.
Michael was a strong man on the outside with a sweet soul on the inside, honest almost to a fault and a man with high morals and values. Michael cared deeply about everyone in his life. His friends and family meant everything to him.
He was the beloved son of Beverly R. (Klosowski) Bower and the late Arthur L Bower. He is also survived by his sisters, Terrie Curtis of Danvers, Corie Tonneson of Beverly, and his brother Craig Bower of Beverly, his nieces and nephew Courtney, Erica and Jordan Curtis, Tanya and Vanessa Tonneson, his aunts and uncle, Natalie Young, William Klosowski, Linda Austin, Lucille Morton, Cynthia Nutter and several cousins. He was predeceased by his uncle Robert Young, and aunt JoAnne Alukonis.
Michael’s Funeral service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Michael’s name to the Children’s Center for Communication, Beverly School for the Deaf, 6 Echo Ave., Beverly, MA 01915.
Our condolences! Michael was a kind man who helped out whenever he could. I remembered him helping Bertram Downer on some work around the campus and in VT. He was a very likable gentleman. He will be missed. With sympathy,
Erik and Christine Majeskey
