March 22, 1943 ~ June 15, 2025

Born in: Cambridge, Massachusetts
Resided in: Groveland, Massachusetts

Michele E. Frost, 82, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, following a period of declining health.  She was the beloved wife of the late Bradley G. Frost, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage until his passing in 2007.

Born in Cambridge on March 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Yvonne (Domphose) McDevitt. Michele was raised and educated in Belmont and was a graduate of Watertown High School, Class of 1960. She went on to earn her nursing degree from the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing in 1962, beginning a long and distinguished career in pediatric nursing.

Michele began her nursing career at Beverly Hospital, and later served at Boston Children’s Hospital and North Shore Children’s Hospital, where she dedicated many years to the care of young patients. Known for her deep compassion, steady presence, and clinical skill, she was beloved by patients, their families, and fellow nurses alike.

A longtime resident of Topsfield, Michele had more recently made her home in Groveland, where she was active in the Whitestone Village Condominium Association. She was a proud and engaged alumna of the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing, where she remained actively involved in alumni events and volunteer work. An avid reader, she enjoyed her time with her book club and cherished the friendships she built over the years.

More than anything, Michele found joy and fulfillment in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her eight grandchildren were the light of her life, and she embraced every opportunity to be part of their lives.

She leaves four children: Kristie Henault of Barrington, NH, Kimberly Allsup and her husband Mark of Northwood, NH, Scott Frost and his wife Catherine of Beverly, and Shawn Frost and his wife Laura of Seabrook. She also leaves her brother, Edmund McDevitt and his wife Judith of Chicago, IL; eight cherished grandchildren: Zachary Henault, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Allsup, and Madeleine, Charles, George, Jennifer, and Alyson Frost; and dear lifelong friends Judy and Dick Plainte and Loretta Rossetti. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert McDevitt.

  6. I worked with Michelle at Boston Children’s and remember with great fondness the care, kindness and joy that she brought to the patients and staff. She had the rare ability to offer expertise, kindness and humor in all her encounters. Michelle made a great impact on those she touched and the stories created will endure forever. It is with great sympathy that I write this and hope that the love she obviously felt for her family and friends, continues to be felt at this sad and difficult time. Sending love and prayers. “Cooley”
