Nancy R. Anzalone

Nancy R. Anzalone, 64, of Beverly, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House.
Born in Everett on Feb. 4, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmela (D’Italia) Anzalone. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1972.
Nancy was employed as a CNA for over twenty years and was a loving and dedicated caregiver. She had previously worked as a hairdresser for many years.
She was an animal lover and was especially devoted to her “granddogs.” She enjoyed going to the YMCA and yoga, and she was grateful for the support she received there and from the Livestrong group.
She leaves two daughters, Nicole and Rachel Shairs, both of Beverly, two brothers, Ronald Anzalone and Anthony Anzalone and his wife Jeanny, all of New Hampshire, a sister, Paula DeCamp, a niece, Michelle Mongeon, an aunt, Joanne D’Italia-Webster, as well a loving extended family. She was predeceased by her sisters Patricia and Grace.
Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s name may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.

Nancy was always so vibrant and full of life! Her positive attitude was contagious and she always had the most beautiful smile….. We will miss our traditional holiday celebrations with you Nancy! My deepest condolences to Nancy’s family. I was her yoga teacher and friend. I will cherish the memories of having her in my classes at the Y. Her warmth and humor will never be forgotten. She was very special to me and I will miss her.
My deepest sympathy to Nancy’s family. I knew her through my yoga class at the YMCA in Peabody. In the 8 months I knew her she was always very upbeat. She talked about her cancer but never in a down way. I was sad to hear she had passed. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you Paula for the wonderful thoughts for our sister Nancy. I have her with us everday,her Ashes are next to a great pic of her at Dane St beach in Beverly. We spent so much time together in the last two years of her life.I miss her so much,she gave me purpose in my life,and strength to get through my heart surgery. We had so many good moments, I will always remember that,she will be in my heart forever

I wished she and I had been closer like when I was younger, but distance wasn’t our friend.! She loved the beach 🏝️ her and I had wonderful talks on the phone and when we visited up North.! I’ll always remember her giving heart ❤️! 💗❤️

Five years yesterday without you !
Missing you and our nice talks funny talks we had with one another.! The family dynamic is complicated especially for our family that went through so much trauma , but I love you ❤️ I always have we are sisters for ever.!
