P. André “Andy” Theriault, 76, of Amesbury, MA passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday, April 3, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. A quintessential family man, he was a devoted husband to the love of his life Paulette (Gauthier) Theriault for 54 years and father to 3 sons, Michael, Scott, and Mark.

André grew up in Salem, MA and earned his BA from Assumption University ‘70. As a young adult he pursued a career in the fencing industry. Andy’s unusually sharp business sense and ability to connect with and motivate people from all walks of life were critical as he became President and Owner of Reliable Fence Company in Woburn, MA. Up until his last days André ran the company he founded and loved alongside his sons.

Andy was an avid boater and skier. Additionally, he cherished travel with his family as he built lasting bonds with all who were close to him. His Grandchildren absolutely adored their “Gramps”.

He is survived by his wife Paulette and 3 sons and their wives: Michael and Bonni (Grant) of Boxford, MA, Scott and Melanie (Perbeck) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Mark and Colleen Wade of Topsfield, MA. He also leaves and is deeply missed by his 6 grandchildren: Jay, Alex, Matthew, Connor, Ava, and Jordyn. He is survived by his sister Patrice Theriault Henn and her husband Joseph of Ozark, AL. André was predeceased by his parents Gloria Retherford and Charles J. Theriault, Jr. and brother Denis Theriault.

André will be eternally remembered and loved for the lifetime of memories he so lovingly created.
