Robert A. Mullenbrock

Robert A. Mullenbrock, 86, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Bedford VA Medical Center following a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Virginia (Cummings) Mullenbrock. Bob was born in Queens,New York on March 5, 1935, he was the son of the late William and Meta Mullenbrock. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale. He resided on Long Island for many years until relocating to the North Shore, and then Estero, Florida. He was a resident of Brooksby Village,Peabody for seventeen years. Bob owned and operated a produce business that operated out of the Chelsea Produce Market. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends and loved caring for his dogs. He leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Steven Owens of Wolfeboro, NH, two grandchildren, Stephanie Gronvall and her husband Benjamin of Silver Spring, MD and Robert Owens and his wife Yelena of Peabody, five great-grandchildren, Clara, Emily, Vera, Alek, and Oliver, a sister-in-law, Patricia Dopslaff, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving companion, Ruth Christoforo, his brother, Edwin Mullenbrock, and his brother-in-law Gordon Dosplaff. Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are by C.R.
