Robert Scott Thomson

Robert Scott Thomson, 63, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 under the care of HPH Hospice in Spring Hill, FL, where he had resided since 2017.
Born in Salem on March 23, 1956, Scott was the son of Betty (Riley) Thomson of Danvers and the late Robert B. Thomson. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1974.
For many years, Scott owned and operated Thomson’s Landscaping & Garden Center in Salem.
A longtime Beverly resident, he was an avid sailor who loved life on the water. He also loved tending to his gardens.
In addition to his mother, he leaves a sister, Kathy Champlain and her husband David of Middleton, a brother, David Thomson and his wife Susan of Danvers, his nieces and nephews, Todd, Brad, Justin, and Allie Champlain and Riley, Brynn, and Colby Thomson, and a loving extended family.
His Funeral Service will be Monday, May 13, 2019 at 10AM in All Saints Episcopal Church, corner of Holten and Cherry Sts., Danvers. As requested there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, Cherry St., Danvers or HPH Hospice, 12242 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613.
