DANVERS- Robert T. Geary, 67, passed away on December 19, 2018 in the Boston Medical Center, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 25, 1951, Bob was the son of the late Tom and Greta (Hurd) Geary. Bob was raised and educated in Topsfield and graduated from Masconomet Regional High School. He had been a police officer in Topsfield for several years prior to his career as an electronic service technician. Bob also had a lobster license and looked forward to the season. He especially enjoyed vacationing to Ossipee, New Hampshire, where he enjoyed boating along with building remote controlled motor boats. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Aurora Geary, of Newburyport and his sister, Joanne Geary of Danvers, as well as many cousins. His Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday morning from 10AM-11AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob’s name to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123.

  1. HI Im WILLIAM GALLANT from Leominster Mass and I was ROBERT friend and co-worker covering the Central Mass. area for ENVIPCO CORP. I was so sad to hear of his passing but really enjoyed my time and memories of working together at our jobs. He was always helping me and had many great ideas. to fix the problems we ran into. I visited him recently at home with my BOSS and was glad to see him and we talked for a while before I had to go . He will be missed by me and our group. GOD bless you ROBERT___GODS speed _____
