I’ll miss you, Ruthie. More than you’ll ever know. You were my mother’s best friend for as long as I can remember. You were there for us through all the good times and also through the bad. You are my family! Some 45 years ago, you bounced me on your knee singing the “Trot Trot to Boston” song. I was not much more than a toddler then. Somewhere around 3 or 4 years old. I remember like it was yesterday and now, here I am, an old fart pushing 50… well ok, 48, but who’s counting? The times you and all your daughters came to visit us in ipswich back in the day were like Christmas morning to me! You and your family were a part of every aspect of my life through all the years that followed. The memories will live on forever in my heart.. Your passing leaves a great big hole in my heart because now I just can’t imagine a life without Ruthie in it. This is going to be hard. You are one of life’s truest blessings and you will be sorely missed by so many here on this Earth. But something tells me that one day we will all be together again by the grace of God and Christ. Until we meet again, may you bask in the glory of God’s presence. Please put in a good word for us! I love you, Ruthie! Xoxo
Ruthie, I remember the days, when all our kids were little and we use to push are carriages up to the center of Danvers and meet. Seemed everytime I was going to have another one, you would tell me you were to. Only difference was I had 3 boys and l girl and you had 4 girls. Too bad I had to move so far away, but you use to manage to come down and visit anyway. Will miss you more than anyone can ever know. Hope all of your girls keep you in their thoughts and in their prayers forever. Love Janet
