Ruth V. Martin

DANVERS- Ruth V. Martin, 90, passed away on February 12, 2017 in Masconomet Healthcare in Topsfield. Born in Boston on April 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Proctor) Martin. Ruth grew up in Needham and Newton where she graduated from high school. She was employed for many years with Massachusetts Bonding and Insurance Company in Boston. Ruth was a long time resident of Danvers and a member of the Maple Street Congregational Church where she enjoyed membership in Maple Eves Society. In her spare time Ruth enjoyed the North Shore Music Theater and traveling to the coasts of Maine and Cape Cod visiting friends. Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Warren S. Martin. She is survived by her cousin, Warren S. Proctor of South Carolina. Her Memorial Service will be celebrated on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 1PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St. Danvers.
