Samira J. Bouharb

Samira J. Bouharb, 87, died in peace at home Wednesday evening, June 15, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Bouharb. Born in Beirut, Lebanon on June 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late George and Zahia (Badwe) Bou Samra. She was raised and educated in Lebanon where she lived for many years until coming to the United States, settling in Peabody nearly thirty years ago. A devoted homemaker, Samira was a gifted hand stitcher, crocheter and did amazing embroidery. A wonderful cook, she also enjoyed gardening and entertaining. Someone who always enjoyed the little things in life, family and faith always came first for Samira, who was a devout Catholic. She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves three children, Norma Haddad and her husband Adel of Peabody, Will Bouharb and his wife Kimberly of Columbus, OH, and Dr. Talal Bouharb and his wife Mirvat of Holden, her son-in-law, Paul Malkoun, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lena Malkoun, and her siblings Olga, Alice, Terese, John, and Elias. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 10:30AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 5-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
