Susan Foy Ardiff

Susan Foy Ardiff, 79, of Danvers, died Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Naples Community Hospital in Florida following a sudden illness. She was the wife of the late William B. Ardiff, who predeceased her in 1995. Susan was born on September 5, 1941 in Schenectady, New York, the daughter of the late Thomas D. and Loretta (White) Foy. She was raised and educated in Swampscott and Marblehead and was a graduate of Marblehead High School, Class of 1959. She furthered her education at Green Mountain College in Vermont. She was employed for several years as a computer programmer at Children’s Hospital. A longtime Danvers resident, she enjoyed sharing time with friends and winters spent in Naples, Florida. She leaves her loving sister, Charlene Foy Gibney and her husband Thomas of Marblehead, and many dear friends, including the King, Sherry, and Cole families whose friendship was especially cherished by Susan. Funeral Rites were held privately at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Governor’s Academy, where her late husband was an active alumnus, c/o Advancement Office, 1 Elm St., Byfield, MA 01922.
