Susan J. Beard

susan beard
DANVERS- Susan Jean Beard left us early Wednesday morning on September 28, 2016, to be with her father; Elston Eugene Beard and mother, Catherine Mary (Zollo) Beard. She will also be with her lifetime partner, Norman Davis and her special caregiver, Bob Canzano. Sue will be missed by her brother, Thomas and Brenda Beard of Fairfield, Maine, her sister, Cynthia and Perry Luke of Wakefield and her brother, John and Nancy Beard of Rowley, her nieces, Kaitrin, Kelsey, Caileen and Emmaline and her nephews, Wade and Ty, her aunt, Louise Zollo and her children, Diane, Gloria, Scott and Tim, her two best friends, Michele Lopez and Debra Getchell and their families and her caregivers at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers. Sue was always cheerful and enjoyed her friends and family immensely. Sue always saw the good in everybody she met. She had many barriers in her life; but that never stopped her from doing for others or being with her family and friends. Her ability to live in the moment is something we all will take away from our knowing Sue as she did it so well. If she could, I know she would like to thank the “The Ride” shuttle service that allowed her to attend holidays with family and go out on the town with her friends. We will all miss you so much. Visiting hours are Monday, October 3, 2016 from 5-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other Funeral Services are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Susan’s name to Little People of America, Inc., 250 El Camino Real, Suite 201, Tustin, CA 92780 or www.lpaonline.org

  2. I was blessed to have Susie as a student in my Freshman Civics class at DHS. She was always smiling, so kind to everyone and a sheer delight to have in class.
