Terry L. Rikeman-Gonsalves

Terry Louise Rikeman-Gonsalves, 68, died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, January 31, 2025, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Malden on July 2, 1956, she was the daughter of the late George and Bess (Barter) Rikeman. She was raised and educated in Reading and was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School.

Terry’s compassionate and generous spirit was evident in her devotion to charitable causes. She was a dedicated supporter of the Wildlife Conservatory, the Humane Society, and Native American Charities, always seeking to make the world a kinder place for animals and people alike.

A true dog lover, Terry surrounded herself with canine companionship throughout her life and collected an impressive array of dog figurines that reflected her passion for animals.

She leaves her loving siblings, Wendy Murphy and her husband Ross of Danvers, Eric James Rikeman and his wife Lisa of Newburyport, and Mark Rikeman of Lynnfield, her nieces and nephews, Ian, Erin, Emily, Deanna, Michelle, Rachel, Erika, Hannah, and Matthew, and two great-nieces, Emerson and Georgia.

She was predeceased by a brother, Everett “Rick” Rikeman.

Visiting hours are Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. To honor Terry’s wishes, colorful attire would be appropriate and encouraged.
