DANVERS- Theresa M. (Savoie) Bergeron, 88, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the beloved wife of Donald H. Bergeron with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Salem on April 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Aurele and Marie (LeBlanc) Savoie. She was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High in 1949. Theresa had been a communicant of Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church and a former member of Our Lady's Sodality. She also volunteered for the Red Cross and Saint Mary of the Annunciation School. Theresa enjoyed traveling to her summer home on the lake in Shapleigh, Maine and wintering in New Port Richey, Florida. She had a love for all children, and enjoyed reading and Saturday night karaoke with her husband and friends. In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Lisa and Robert Bucco of Danvers, Craig and Cathy Bergeron of Ipswich, Gary and Michele Bergeron of Middleton and Curt and Lindsay Bergeron of W. Newbury, ten loving grandchildren, Amanda Guerino and her husband Steve, Lauren Bucco, Nick Bucco, Jaclyn Bucco, Maegan Bergeron, Brett Bergeron, Erin Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, Logan Bergeron and Brody Bergeron and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Roger, Claude and Ronald Savoie. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, August 23, 2019 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Salem. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa’s name may be made to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns, 15 Mount Carmel Rd, Danvers, MA, 01923.
