Wallace M. Ouimette

Wallace M. Ouimette, 88, a lifelong Danvers resident, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019. He was the husband of Barbara B. (Steele) Ouimette. Born in Danvers on March 29, 1931, he was the son of the late Daniel and Malena (Maynard) Ouimette. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School. He then served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Wallace was self-employed in the home improvement industry until the time of his retirement. He leaves four children, Kenneth Ouimette and his companion Patty Ramsdell of Danvers, Kathleen Ford and her husband Joel of North Carolina, Ronald Ouimette and his wife Isabelle of Texas, and Carolyn Haskell of North Reading, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Rita Zagarella of Danvers and Eleanor Page of New Hampshire, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Ouimette, and his siblings Donald Ouimette, Dorothy Gaudet, and Flora LaChance. Memorial services for Wallace and his wife, who died in August of 2022, will be announced at a later date.
