BEVERLY- William Austin Center IV, at age 56, passed away surrounded by his family on February 3, 2022. He was the loving husband of Becky (Aubin) Center, with whom he would have shared twenty-four years of marriage this March. Bill was born in Beverly on June 21, 1965. He was the son of the late William and Wilma (Foster) Center. Bill was raised and educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High school in 1984. He had been a mechanic for several years at Kelly Nissan, he was the Assistant Deputy Superintendent for the Essex County Sherriff’s Department in Middleton, MA where he had been employed for over twenty years, he also owned and operated “Wil-Walk” Flooring & Construction Company. Bill loved to entertain; he was famous for his annual “Billy” burgers and loved an occasion game of Texas holdem. He enjoyed football and kick boxing. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. In addition to his wife, Becky, he is survived by two sons, William A. Center V, his Wife JaVonna R. Center of Washington, and Walker M. Center of Beverly, along with his brothers: Lawrence A. Center of Beverly, Michael R. Center of Newbury and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St. Danvers. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St. Danvers MA, 01923.

  1. So sorry to The whole center family. I knew Bill since our high school days. He was a great guy. The world has lost a beautiful sole. I’m sure he will be missed by all who knew him. RIP big guy 🙏

    Unfortunately it is only in times like this that you reach back in memories. The last time we saw Billy and Becky was when Billy V was just born.

    Looking at the photos there is no doubt he was a great father and husband, proud of his job and enjoyed life.
