William F. Nagle

DANVERS- William F. Nagle, 84, passed away on August 2, 2019 in Beverly Hospital. He was the husband of Janet (Ambroult) Nagle with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in Boston on July 6, 1935 he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Agnes (Tobin) Nagle. Bill was raised and educated in Stoneham. He served our country with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was an electrician and a past member of the Local 103 in Boston. He had also worked for the Essex County Sheriff’s Department prior to becoming the Town of Danvers electrical inspector. Bill had been a resident of Danvers for nearly 40 years. He was an avid golfer and fly fisherman and was a member of the Malden Anglers and the Danvers Fish and Game.
In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by his seven children, William Nagle and his partner Kevin Cole of Lowell, Thomas Nagle of Lowell, Joshua Nagle and his partner Kim MacLean of NH, Katelyn Dingle and her husband Jason of Beverly, Michael Allain and his wife Julie of Danvers, Randall Allain and his wife Stacey of Peabody and Karen Moore and her partner Bill Cary of Danvers, fourteen grandchildren and one on the way, one great grandson and his siblings, Jane and Robert Nagle.
His Funeral Service will be held at 11:30Am on Friday, August 9, 2019 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday in the funeral home. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bill’s name to the American Heart Assoc. at www.heart.org.
