I had the touching experience of attending your recent Christmas Memorial Service and want to commend everyone for the amazing experience! It was done with dignity, sensitivity and such love for all who attended! You left nothing out, and greatly gave the grieving attendees everything we needed and beyond! The beautiful words spoken by the MC, the music chosen and sung by Jody and Anne, the lighting of the candles, the refreshments and the gift to each of the symbolic and stunning , AMARYLLIS, provided HOPE and measured joy to each person present there!
Thank you seems insufficient to express gratitude to those who did so much for all who attended the event, but words never do suffice to express such deeply felt emotion! Prayers for all of you will replace the inadequacy of words!

CR even went shopping for an outfit for my mom when the outfit we provided didn't work because her scars from the Iv's she had were still weeping!! He is the best!! My family has trusted C.R. Lyons and family Funeral Home with our loved ones since the 1970's. C.R. and Amanda are the most caring, compassionate, real, down to earth people you could ever hope to never have to meet. Unfortunately, it's inevitable, but you could not be in better hands. When my Dad was dying and being mistreated in the long term care facility that had him and nobody else would help, I was desperate. As a last resort, I called C.R. and he got the Hospital to accept my father back as an inpatient after I had been told no, over and over. He then sent the ambulance to pick him up immediately. When my Dad died, he and Amanda took care of everything perfectly. I could not imagine that anyone else would have cared that much.
Death is miserable and unpleasant but when someone dies you can trust C.R. and his sister Amanda to make it so much easier. They will take care of every detail for you with compassion and professionalism.
It's been a few months to bring myself to write this, I can't Thank C.R Lyons and sons funeral home for the compassion we received during a very difficult time. From the moment we called to the day we had our tiny baby boys ashes delivered, they exceeded my expectations. You made a difficult moment easy for us to get through by the way you took care of everything. Thank you!!
My wife recently passed away and I needed to organize a service for her. Lyons took care of 99% of the process and tasks required. I couldn't have been more pleased with how the everything was organized along with the final service.
Amanda and her team make the whole thing seem effortless but also very personable as we went through the process. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and my requests were first and foremost in forming the final service
To Ann, Michael, Matt, mark and Amanda;
We will all miss him and remember him for All the good things he did and could do. His love for you all, his work ethic, his kind heart, his rapier wit, his cooking skills and so much more.
Michael was a true renaissance man. He could literally do it all, well except cleaning up after himself! Sew, cook, design, build, improvise, create, fix, you name it. With his love of medical shows I’m pretty sure he could have done his own surgeries under local anesthesia. Michael could take a ‘57 Chevy apart and build a rocket ship with the parts.
Most of all I know how proud of you all and his grand babies he was. Michael will be around for a long time because you’re all here.
Let’s shed our tears, get pissed off and hug and support one another. He was true energy. And we know that in the universe no new energy is created or existing energy lost. Michael is all around us.
