Shirley M. Perkins

DANVERS- Shirley M. (Beattie) Perkins, 82, passed away on May 28, 2016 in her home. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Perkins.
Born in Granville, New York on March 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Higgins) Beattie. She was raised and educated in New York and graduated from Salem High School in New York. Shirley moved to Danvers in her early 20’s and attended Salem School for Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Shirley was a nurse at Salem Hospital for several years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and animals.
She is survived by her two sons, Stephen C. Perkins of Danvers and Peter H. Perkins of New Hampshire, her sister Louise Keyes of Salem, NY and several grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Dorie Rice.
Her Funeral Service will be held in New York at a later date.
