William D. Casey, 79, died Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the loving husband of the late Janet A. (Quinn) Casey, with whom he shared thirty-nine years of marriage. Born in Boston on August 29, 1941, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Deeley) Casey. He was raised in Dorchester and attended Boston Latin School and Northeastern University. Bill worked in the Financial District for over thirty years and retired from Brown Brothers Harriman after twenty-one years. He had previously owned and operated a golf course in Newton with his lifelong friend of 65 years, Mel Tapper. A resident of Georgetown since 1995, he had been a longtime Beverly resident and was an avid sports enthusiast. He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus Beverly Council #175. He leaves a son, William D. Casey Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Georgetown, two grandchildren, Emma and Liam Casey, and a brother, Francis Casey and his wife Peg of Braintree. He was predeceased by his siblings, Walter, Gerard, and Rosemary Casey. His graveside service will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10AM in Annunciation Cemetery, 155 Hobart St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. All attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing, and are respectfully asked for no physical contact with the family.
