Agnes F. (Bellefleur) Moody, 100, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in Kimball Farm Nursing Home in Lenox. She was the wife of the late George F. Moody, Jr., with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born on April 26, 1912 in Roxbury she was the daughter of the late Armand J. and Dora (Gauthier) Bellefleur. She was raised and educated in Roxbury where she was the organist in her church. She moved to Danvers in 1950. Agnes was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church and St. Richard Church in Danvers. She was very active within her church as a member of the Ladies Sodality, Catholic Daughters, the church choir and the prayer group. Agnes was involved with the Cub Scouts and several rug braiding clubs and a life member of Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W. Post 2359. She is survived by two children, Richard Moody and his wife Christine of Danvers and Carol Stockmal and her husband Richard of Becket, six grandchildren, David Moody and his wife Heidi, Scott Moody and his wife Pranava, Amy Knapp and her husband Christian, Christina-Marie Pennington and her husband Ben, Steven Stockmal and his wife Sherye and Sarabeth Grant and her husband Jonathan, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Carreiro of NY and Loretta Droney of Needham. She was predeceased by her siblings, David Bellefleur, Cecelia Milano and Richard Bellefleur. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Monday, August 6, 2012 in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3-6PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Operation Troop Support, 16 Trinity St., Danvers, MA 01923.
