Mr. Allison B. “Al” Coyle, 81, died Thursday morning, August 30, 2012 at the New England Home for the Deaf in Danvers. He was the husband of the late Gail (Bradshaw) Coyle. Born in Lynn on Sept. 19, 1930, he was the son of the late Charles “Leo” and Nora (MacIntyre) Coyle. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of the Halifax School for the Deaf in Nova Scotia. Al worked as a machinist throughout his career, working for many years at Varian in Lexington. A longtime resident of Billerica, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by a daughter, Kim Sampson and her husband Dennis of Melrose, two sons, Charles Coyle and his wife Darlene of Hudson, NH and Craig Coyle and his wife Kelly-Beth of Manchester, NH, 6 grandchildren, Mikayla, Katherine, and Dylan Sampson, Connor, Rachel, and Molly Coyle, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Hickey, and a brother, Charles Coyle. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Monday from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. As requested, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New England Homes for the Deaf, 154 Water St., Danvers, MA 01923.
