Arthur W. Roberts

DANVERS- Arthur W. Roberts, 85, passed away on September 9, 2023 in Beverly Hospital. He was the loving husband of Carol (Gibbons) Roberts with whom he shared nearly 62 years of marriage. Born in Danvers on February 19, 1938, he was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Weldon) Roberts. Arthur was a lifelong resident of Danvers. He had served our country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Arthur had a long career with the United States Post Office, working as a postal clerk in the Danvers Post Office in the Square. Upon retirement, Arthur enjoyed assisting customers and delivering arrangements for Currans Florist. In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and James O’Shea of Danvers, his granddaughter, Heather O’Shea and his sisters, Judith Innis of Danvers and Joyce Trupiano of Gloucester. He was predeceased by his siblings, Harold Roberts and Mary Ann Perry. His services will be announced at a later date.
