Barbara A. Flynn

DANVERS- Barbara (Faulkner) Flynn, 89, passed away on April 12, 2023, at Hathorne Hill Skilled Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Flynn, Sr. Born in Salem on January 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Anna May (Masterson) Faulkner. Barbara was raised and educated in Salem graduating from Salem High School Class of 1952. Upon graduation, she worked as a banking clerk at the former Heritage Co-operative Bank in Salem while attending banking school in Boston, prior to starting her family. Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed many summers vacationing at the lake in Freedom, New Hampshire with her family and countless weekend trips with her husband throughout the year. She is survived by three children, Cynthia Arsenault and her husband Robert of Danvers, Brian Flynn and his wife Kathleen of Danvers, and Kathleen Deleidi and her husband Jim of Gloucester, nine grandchildren, Thomas, John, Robert, Erin, Sean, Brady, Katie, Taylor, and Patrick, her brother, Edward Faulkner and her devoted sister Louise Flynn both of NH. She was predeceased by her son Thomas P. Flynn, Jr., and her brothers Robert and Richard Faulkner. Her graveside funeral service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Annunciation Cemetery, 155 Hobart St., Danvers.
