Barbara (Boylan) Joyce

Barbara May (Boylan) Joyce, 67, passed away on January 17, 2012. She was the wife of the late John Joyce. Born in Peabody on July 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Pauline (Tatterfield) Boylan. Barbara was raised and educated in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School in 1962. She had been employed at Regis Auditing and also Raytheon in Waltham prior to retirement. She is survived by a son Shawn Joyce of Byfield, a brother Jack Boylan of Georgia and a sister Patricia Rohrbacher of Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in Barbara’s name to North Shore Feline Rescue, P.O. Box 1263, Middleton, MA, 01949.

Barbara was my friend for over fifty years, high school, Kiddietowne, she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. Over the years we lost touch, very sad, loved her like a sister, miss her. God Bless you Barbara. Rest in Peace.
Just like Charlene, Barbara and I were friends who worked together at Kiddietowne, many years ago. They were great times, and we were all good friends. Rest in peace Barbara.
