Barbara S. Shapiro

Barbara S. (Sedler) Shapiro, 86, formerly of Swampscott and Danvers, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Brooksby Village in Peabody. Wife of the late Arthur “Bud” Shapiro, she is survived by her daughters, Joan “Jodi” O’Neill and her husband Bill of Cary, NC and Jaime McGonagle and her husband Joe of Warwick, RI, and her son John Shapiro and his wife Megan of Purchase, NY. A memorial gathering in her honor will be held in the McIntosh Clubhouse at Brooksby Village on Weds., May 15, 2013 at 3PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
