Beverly A. Annis

Beverly A. (McCullough) Annis, 93, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of the late Earle B. Annis, Sr., who predeceased her in 2008. Born in Beverly on Nov. 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Carroll) McCullough. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a 1940 graduate of Beverly High School. She later graduated from the Salem Commercial School. Mrs. Annis was employed for several years at GTE Sylvania and also in the chiropractic office of Dr. Joel Green. She had also worked as a model for Jordan Marsh and Estee Lauder. A Danvers resident since 1953, she was a communicant of Saint Richard Church. She leaves a son, Christopher Annis of Hampton, NH, three grandchildren, Erikka Bergby of California and Zachary and Brittany Annis, both of Hampton, NH, her daughter-in-law, Frances Annis of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Cynthia Bergby and Earl Annis, Jr., and a son-in-law, Einor Bergby. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visitation will be prior to the Mass from 9-9:45AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
